- The Imperial Sugar Factory module will participate in the main layout at
the 20th N'Crowd convention in Houston, TX, running
June 5-8,
2003 at the Adams Mark
Hotel.
- Most of the Club layout will be set up for viewing and operation in
Stafford, TX, on July 3-4, 2003. This will be part of the commemoration
of the first train in Texas, which ran from Harrisburg to Stafford Point on
these dates in 1853. The layout will be set up at Stafford
City Hall. Check back for updates on dates
and times.
- The Club has begun work on the next major NTRAK module, which will
re-create downtown Richmond, Texas as it appeared in 1951. Look for it at
upcoming model railroad conventions in the Houston area. Tentative target
for first display is the GATS show in early September, 2003.
- The Club will begin producing a series of club cars featuring themes
unique to the area. The authentic prototype schemes have never been
available before in any scale of model railroad equipment. Proceeds from
sales will help the Club with costs for the Richmond module and other
activities. Check back for pending announcements.
